When HUST decided to work with dementia charities on our latest community initiative we soon realised that there was a type of dementia that we couldn’t ignore: footballers are far more likely than the general public to suffer from a brain disease known as CTE (Chronic Traumatic Entrophy). Read more about this and a campaign set up to highlight the issue.
HUST are delighted to host the very first Switch of Play live on 24 September! If you are not aware, Switch of Play is a podcast hosted by ex-Pools media manager Mark Simpson and Pools legend Micky Barron, and is enjoyed by Poolies everywhere.
HUST emailed our members last week with an update on a number of matters, including our position on the sale of the Football Club and the response we received from Ben Houchen regarding the development of the Hartlepool Mayoral Development Corporation. Read more here.
