Since launching our Community Ticket Fund in 2022, HUST has been proud to help people from across Hartlepool enjoy a matchday at The Vic. Thanks to the generosity of Poolies, we’ve been able to donate tickets to a wide range of fantastic local groups including Hart Gables, the North East Autism Society, Together 21, Cornerstone, and local dementia charities.

The aim remains simple; to open the gates to fans who may otherwise find it difficult to attend, and to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported when they come to watch Pools. Testimonies from two of our partners show that our fund continues to make a real difference in our community.

Cornerstone – “We had a brilliant time! For two of our guests, it was their first ever football match, and they were absolutely over the moon. They said they really enjoyed themselves and couldn’t stop smiling. Thank you again to everyone at the Hartlepool United Supporters’ Trust for making this possible, your generosity means a lot to our community.”
Hart Gables – Last year we worked with Hartlepool United Supporters Trust to find out why some vulnerable members of the LGBTQ+ community felt worried about going to the match. This year HUST helped those people attend their first match in a very long time and what a brilliant time they had! Many football clubs around the country support the national campaign Rainbow Laces to spread the message that football should be inclusive to all – our local supporters club are not only doing that, but they have also given people an opportunity to alleviate fears and once again be a part of something they love.

Fans can donate directly to the Community Ticket Initiative at the links below, with every penny going towards tickets for individuals and groups who will benefit most. Your support has already helped so many people either reconnect with the club they love or start a new passion — and we’re excited to keep building on this in the seasons ahead.

We’re always looking to expand the initiative and link up with new community partners. If you’d like to nominate a group or get involved as a business, please get in touch at community@hufcsupporterstrust.org.uk.
