Mark Goodman, a stalwart of the board for the past few years, is stepping down with immediate effect due to work commitments. He dropped us a line earlier this week explaining that a new job, with more extensive travelling, has limited the time he can give to the role.
Mark says ‘I’ve not taken this decision lightly but I do believe with the current board HUST is in a stronger position than ever. I’ll be around in future though, particularly when we can get back to holding public events and will give a helping hand.’
We’re really grateful for Mark’s input, good humour and particularly the time he’s given dealing with community groups, corresponding with our local MP and helping with food bank initiatives.
