In light of the fans’ concern arising from the Club’s strongly worded statement on Luca Murphy signing for Fulham, and the social media support offered by Fulham fans, HUST approached the Fulham Supporters Trust asking for their opinion on the content of the statement and they offered to raise this at their monthly MOU meeting, which they recently did.

The brief – and unsurprising – response from the Fulham management is contained in the minutes of the meeting. This highlights the issue of our non-league position and the lack of protection National League teams are given for their young prospects, as mentioned in the Academy announcement this week.
We would hope that HUFC are able to pursue something behind the scenes given the extra information they have available on the whole situation.
