HUST are pleased to confirm that the vast majority of members that voted on the two proposals recently put out to vote were in favour of working with Mr Singh to agree a shareholder agreement and to use a portion of the existing investment reserve to kick-start this equity investment.

To the first question which was “Do you support the HUST Board working with Mr Singh to agree a shareholder agreement and to pursue the fundraising requirements such agreement would entail?” the response was 97.4% in favour.

To the second question which was “Do you support using a portion of the existing investment reserve to kick-start this equity investment scheme?” the response was 95.3% in favour.

HUST have informed the club via Martin Jesper of the outcome and will now work towards the next steps of negotiating a share value, including a sensible initial outlay from the reserve. We must again stress that following any negotiation members will have a further opportunity to vote on the proposal. We also appreciate those that have asked additional questions which we have tried to provide initial answers to, but we are also collating these ready to allow and present formal answers before any further vote.

Please be aware that until any negotiations have taken place and any subsequent members vote has been approved, HUST are not specifically fundraising for this cause.  However to ensure that as many HUFC supporters as possible have their say, you can sign up to HUST here and expired members can still sign up for the reduced renewal cost by entering RENEWAL in the discount code box.

Next month we will also be formally inviting members to apply for open board positions. It is vitally important for HUST, whichever direction the near future takes us, to obtain further members on board for us to work successfully towards our objectives. Therefore we would encourage anyone who may have the skills and time to support to put themselves forward. If you want to discuss these opportunities informally then please email us and one of the existing board can have a chat over the phone with you.
