The AGM for the Hartlepool United Supporters’ Trust will take place upstairs in the Corner Flag at 6:30 pm for a 7 pm start on Thursday 5th December 2019. Prior to the AGM there is an opportunity for election of a new board. Please find details below.


Election of the Hartlepool United Supporters’ Trust Board

At the committee meeting held on 26th September 2019, the procedure for the election of a new Hartlepool United Supporters’ Trust (HUST) Board was agreed.  An Election Management Group, comprising three current Members of HUST and an independent scrutineer was appointed.

The terms of the following Board members; John Cooke and Mark Dobson will expire on 1st  November 2019.

According to the HUST constitution, the Trust Board should have no more than ten (10) members.  Although 2 members of the current elected Board are standing down, they have the right to stand for re-election.  However, there are a total of five (5) elected Directors’ positions to be filled and nominations are now invited.  The closing date for nominations is 23.59hh 25th October 2019 and a form is here if you wish to put your name forward.

Please note that a statement of between 200 and 500 words must accompany your nomination form.  Nominations may be returned either via email (membership@hufcsupporterstrust.org.uk) or posted to 40 Belmont Gardens, Hartlepool, TS26 9LS.  (It is hoped to conduct this election process electronically but HUST welcome postal nominations and votes also.)

Please ensure that you are eligible to stand for the Board by reading both the Election Process and timetable and the Election Policy.

In order to vote in the election, should a ballot be required, you must have been a paid up member of HUST on or before 9th October 2019.  If you are unsure of your status, please contact the Membership Secretary.
