Fighting Fund now stands at just over £44,000 across all revenue streams. While we are really pleased with progress thus far, we know we still have a long way to go to hit the target needed to help The Consortium buy the club.

A big shout out to  23 Taxis ( £5000 ) and Atkinsons Printers ( £1000 ) for their huge donations in the last 24 hours, these are massively appreciated, as are all contributions we have received, big and small, because it all helps to secure football at The Vic next season.

We appreciate that money is tight in the town and people have already donated to other fundraising efforts so we are looking further afield for investment. We have been asked several times why the latest video campaign was run with the hashtag Save Jeffs Club. Put simply, we felt to get the sort of investment needed, we had to create a national campaign, something that would spark the interest of football fans outside of the area. The reality is that Jeff is someone most casual football fans across the land associate with Pools, and we wanted to pose the question to them how would Saturday afternoons on Sky Sports feel without us ?

We have been in talks this week with a couple of very interesting potential investors, and will continue with those talks in the coming days.

We have another big Fundraiser tomorrow (Saturday) night at The Catholic Club in Marlowe Road. We will be hosting the Pools 93 squad that defeated Crystal Palace in the F.A. Cup. There is also a comedian and pie and peas.

Admission is £20 with the ability to pay on the door, and we will also be holding fundraising events during the night which will give fans the chance to get their hands on some fantastic memorabilia. The players have made great efforts to get here from right across the country so please make an effort to show your appreciation for that, celebrate some happier times, while raising funds for the Trust and Football In The Community.
