Happy Saint David’s Day! This week John looks at the background to this Welsh celebration and uses it as a foundation to look at Pools in Wales, to suggest that Greggs introduce Taffies to their range of savouries, and to again remember Eifion’s two goals at Darlington.

This week John uses a speech by John F Kennedy to provoke thought about the relationship between the club, its employees and we the fans – and then swiftly moves onto to talk about a club which our Honorary President once managed – Willington AFC.

This week John agrees with the Eric Cantona saying, “You can change your wife, change your politics, change your religion. But never, never can you change your favourite football team!”, muses if Pools fans are really as bad as they are made out to be, and ponders dividing his allegiances between two clubs….
