This week John again returns to the Swansea 16 and makes a suggestion for Mark Maguire to consider. In fact he makes a number of polite suggestions for Mark Maguire to consider.
Against a background of positive developments at Blackpool and, possibly, Bolton Wanderers, John is very downbeat in his views on the future of Gateshead and uses these examples, and developments at Rochdale and Grimsby, to again emphasise the importance of our Supporters Trust.
He is also rude, again, about certain HUST Board members and, if this continues, his weekly article may be cancelled (along with his membership).
As ever, comments/ observations/ corrections are welcomed.

Recently HUST took a trip down the A1 and across the M62 to meet with Dave Roberts of the Mariners Trust to congratulate them on their recent memorandum of understanding signed with their club, and to find out more.

Someone has clearly put something into John’s beer! This week he’s almost nice about everyone and has only the slightest of digs at Mr Maguire; he does have some harsh words for HUST chair Richard Ward, however, and has now done his research on The Swansea 16 and apologises for his errors about Willington FC.

Please find below a copy of minutes from the most recent Fans Forum which was attended on behalf of HUST by Chairman Richard Ward. These minutes were prepared by Richard following the meeting and have since been approved as a final version by those who were present. The meeting was very open and detailed and the HUST Board would like to thank Mark Maguire for his time.

In response to feedback from HUST members who do not use Facebook but wish to contribute to debate about HUST, HUFC and football in general we have now launched a discussion forum on the HUST website.
